Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Wordle Analytics ("WA," "we," "us," "the site"). By creating an account, you agree to these terms.

1. Not affiliated with The New York Times

Wordle Analytics is an independent, fan-made statistics tool. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by The New York Times Company, Wordle, or Wordle Bot. "Wordle" is a trademark of The New York Times Company.

2. Who can use Wordle Analytics

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate.

Each member may hold one account. Sharing accounts or creating multiple accounts to manipulate leaderboards or rankings is a violation of these terms and our Fair Play guidelines.

3. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Let us know immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload falsified, manipulated, or fraudulent Wordle results
• Attempt to access another member's account without permission
• Interfere with or disrupt the site's normal operation
• Use the site to harass, abuse, or harm other members
• Attempt to circumvent any security or access-control feature of the site

Full details on fair play and daily-upload conduct are in our Guidelines, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the Wordle results and any other content you submit. By uploading it, you grant Wordle Analytics a license to store, process, and display that data as part of operating the service — including aggregate/anonymized use in features like leaderboards and community statistics.

6. Service availability

Wordle Analytics is provided free of charge, on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. Features, functionality, and this free-of-charge status may change over time.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wordle Analytics is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that statistics, rankings, or puzzle data displayed on the site are error-free — the site relies in part on automated image recognition, which can occasionally misread a screenshot.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wordle Analytics and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of account access, or reliance on inaccurate statistics. Because this service is provided free of charge, our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to the amount you paid to use it (i.e., zero).

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, including manipulation of fair-play rules, at our discretion. You may delete your own account at any time from Account settings.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes take effect means you accept the revised terms.
